Sepide Zamani’s work is inherently process-oriented and site-specific, with the primary components of her projects being significantly influenced by the context and environment in which they are conceived and developed. The material economy and speed of creation fundamentally influence the formal decisions and choice of materials in her art. Papier-mâché, as her primary medium, aligns with her preference for cost-effective fabrication.

Sepide's works exhibit an exuberant approach, incorporating elements of candidness, humor, movement, and narrative within sculptural installations. By examining the nuances of verbal and non-verbal communication, Sepide's work seeks to unravel layers of perception and misperception, as well as the intricacies of language and systems of communication.

Collaboration in various forms has consistently been a significant aspect of her practice. For seven years, she was an active member of Tehran Carnival, an all-female public art collective that created sculptures in public spaces, systematically studying their interaction with the environment.
